NASA has agreed to search its archives for documents pertaining to a 1965 UFO crash that took place in the woods near Kecksburg Pa. NASA has resisted this request and acutally fought the request in federal court. The government agency has refused to open the files about this incident. NASA was sued by Leslie Kean, investigative journalist with the Coalition for Freedom of Information. The space agency originally turned over several stacks of documents that did not satisfy the request.
U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan agreed. In March 2007 Judge Sullivan rejected NASA's request to have the case thrown out of court.
Kean stated that she sued NASA and not the ARMY because the space agency a decade ago released some relevant documents on the Keckburg case.
Here are the facts:
December 9th 1965 - A fireball fell from the sky and crash landed in the woods near Kecksburg Pennsylvania, 40 miles south west of Pittsburgh. This fireball was witnessed by several people, when they approached the crash site the Army was already there and had the area cordoned off not letting anyone in. The USAF offical word on this was that it was a meteroite or meteor. One USAF memo stated 'They did not find anything'. Apparently several NASA employees were at the site as well. Eyewitnesses on the scene said a flatbed truck drove away with a large object shaped like and acorn about the size of a vw bus. It had hieroglyphic like writing along the bottom. Some people believe this object was transported to Wright Patterson AF Base in Ohio.

Astronomers Find 'Second Earth' in its early stages

Astronomers using a NASA telescope have identified a very large belt of warm dust swirling around a young star called HD 113766 . The Spitzer Space Telescope is a very powerful NASA tool used to map the Universe.
This swirling dust belt is appearing to clump up and form planets.
A meteroite crashed into southern Peru over the weekend, leaving many villagers nausea and vomiting. The meterite left a boiling crater with vapors and steam rising. Witnesses reported the meteroite crashed in near the Peru / Bolivian border.
Jose Mechare, a scientist with Peru's Geological, Mining and Metallurgical Institute, said a geologist had confirmed that it was a “rocky meteorite,” based on the fragments analyzed. He said water in the meteorite's muddy crater boiled for maybe 10 minutes from the heat and could have given off a vapor that sickened people, and scientists were taking water samples.The mystery illness sickened as many as 200 people who suffered headaches, nausea and respiratory problems caused by “toxic” fumes emanating from the crater. The crater measures 65 feet wide and 15 feet deep. A team of doctors sent to investigate found no evidence the meteor sickened anyone. If anything the impact of the meteor would kick up dust that could make the locals ill.

Fireball Sited Over Atlantic Ocean
On saturday night a huge fireball was spotted over the Atlantic Ocean. This sighting was reported by hundreds of people from South Carolina to New Jersey, Apparently it was a huge fireball and crashed into the ocean. Coast Guard cutters and helicopters were dispatched but found nothing, said Coast Guard spokesman Petty Officer Nyx Cangemi, "Its a real mystery". Authorities are attributing it to a meteor from the 'Aurigid meteor showers' that were visible from the west coast that night.
“It was dispatched as a fireball, out over the ocean, going into the ocean,” Deputy Chief Tim Cook of the Toms River, N.J., Fire Department told The Post.
FAA Spokesman Jim Peters said "we have no planes reported missing", he checked Mcguire AF Base and nearby area airports.
NASA testing the new 5M15 rocket engine. This new engine is unique because it runs on compressed liquid methane. Three strong selling points for new propulsion system.

Flying WIng Prototype Aircraft
"An experimental jet that resembles a flying wing successfully flew for the first time in a program that could lead to more fuel-efficient, quieter and higher-capacity aircraft, NASA said Thursday. The remotely controlled, 500-pound, three-engine jet with a 21-foot wingspan took off July 20, climbed to an altitude of 7,500 feet and landed about a half-hour later, NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center said. The X-48B Blended Wing Body aircraft was controlled by a pilot at a ground station. NASA and Boeing said data from the flight are already being compared with data from wind tunnel tests. The aircraft and a duplicate were designed by Boeing Co.'s Phantom Works in cooperation with NASA and the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Built by Cranfield Aerospace Ltd. in Bedford, England, they are 8.5 percent-scale versions of a future full-size design. The X-48B resembles a flying wing, but the wing blends into a wide, flat and tailless fuselage, NASA and Boeing said. "
With Wright Patterson Air Force Base being the suspected home to several crashed UFOs, i wonder how much 'Alien Technology' went into the creation of the Flying Wing aircraft?

Possible Roswell UFO Confirmation
A death bed confession by Lt. Walter Haut might confirm the fact the aliens did crash in the desert of Roswell New Mexico in 1947. The following story was reported on foxnews.com on 7-2-07 apparently taken from the AP wire.
In 1947 a light UFO was sited flying over the Cascade Mountains of Washington state. It was flying at an altitude of 10,000 feet. Suddenly, a bright flash of light lit up the object.
As pilot Kenneth Arnold searched the sky for the source of the bright light, he spotted a group of 9 metallic UFOs flying in-formation. Visibility was apparently good this night. Pilot Arnold estimated the speed of these UFOs at around 1,600 mph – This being 1947, the speed of these craft exceeded that of any man-made jet by nearly three times.

“This wasn't just the world's first UFO sighting — this was the birth of a phenomenon, one that still exercises an extraordinary fascination. Military authorities issued a press release, which began: "The many rumors regarding the flying disc became a reality yesterday when the intelligence officer of the 509th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force, Roswell Army Air Field, was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disc."
The headlines screamed: "Flying Disc captured by Air Force". Yet, just 24 hours later, the military changed its story and claimed the object it had first thought was a "flying disc" was a weather balloon that had crashed on a nearby ranch.
The key witness was U.S. Army Maj. Jesse Marcel, the intelligence officer who had gone to the ranch to recover the wreckage. He described the metal as being wafer-thin but incredibly tough. It was as light as balsa wood, but couldn't be cut or burned.
These and similar accounts of the incident have largely been dismissed by all except the most dedicated believers.
Astonishing new twist. But last week came an astonishing new twist to the Roswell mystery. Lt. Walter Haut was the public-relations officer at the base in 1947 and was the man who issued the original and subsequent press releases
after the crash on the orders of the base commander, Col. William Blanchard.
Haut died in December 2005, but left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death. Last week, the text was released. It asserts that the weather-balloon claim was a cover story and that the real object had been recovered by the military and stored in a hangar.
He described seeing not just the craft, but alien bodies. He wasn't the first Roswell witness to talk about alien bodies.
Local undertaker Glenn Dennis had long claimed that he was contacted by authorities at Roswell shortly after the crash and asked to provide a number of child-sized coffins. When he arrived at the base, he was apparently told by a nurse (who later disappeared) that a UFO had crashed and that small humanoid extraterrestrials had been recovered.
But Haut is the only one of the original participants to claim to have seen alien bodies. UFO pieces were handed around.
Haut's affidavit talks about a high-level meeting he attended with base commander Col. William Blanchard and the Commander of the Eighth Army Air Force, Gen. Roger Ramey. Haut states that at this meeting, pieces of wreckage were handed around
for participants to touch, with nobody able to identify the material. He says the press release was issued because locals were already aware of the crash site, but in fact there had been a second crash site, where more debris from the craft had fallen.
The plan was that an announcement acknowledging the first site, which had been discovered by a farmer, would divert attention from the second and more important location.
The clean-up operation
Haut also spoke about a clean-up operation, where for months afterward military personnel scoured both crash sites searching for all remaining pieces of debris, removing them and erasing all signs that anything unusual had occurred. This ties in with claims made by locals that debris collected as souvenirs was seized by the military.
Haut then tells how Colonel Blanchard took him to "Building 84" — one of the hangars at Roswell — and showed him the craft itself. He describes a metallic egg-shaped object around 12-15 feet in length and around 6 feet wide. He said he saw no windows, wings, tail, landing gear or any other feature.
Haut "saw the alien bodies"
He saw two bodies on the floor, partially covered by a tarpaulin. They are described in his statement as about 4 feet tall, with
disproportionately large heads. Towards the end of the affidavit, Haut concludes: "I am convinced that what I personally observed was some kind of craft and its crew from outer space."
What's particularly interesting about Walter Haut is that in the many interviews he gave before his death, he played down his role and made no such claims. Had he been seeking publicity, he would surely have spoken about the craft and the bodies. Did he fear ridicule, or was the affidavit a sort of deathbed confession from someone who had been part of a cover-up, but who had
stayed loyal to the end?
The U.S. government came under huge pressure on Roswell in the '90s. In July 1994, in response to an inquiry from the General Accounting Office, the office of the secretary of the Air Force published a report, "The Roswell Report: Fact Versus Fiction in the New Mexico Desert."
Weather balloon "cover story"
The report concluded that the Roswell incident had been attributable to something called Project Mogul, a top-secret project using high-altitude balloons to carry sensor equipment into the upper atmosphere, listening for evidence of Soviet nuclear tests.
A second U.S. Air Force report concluded that the claims bodies were recovered were generated by people who had seen crash-test dummies dropped from the balloons.
Skeptics, of course, will dismiss the testimony left by Haut.”
Footnote to story:
The main problem with the government story of weather balloons and crash test dummies is the fact there is no proof that crash test dummies had yet been invented (or used) in 1947. They came into existence and used in the mid 1950s for an assortment of crash scenarios.
Bottom Line: I believe Haut, what does he have to lose, he's dead. I think he made a deathbed confession of the facts as he saw them in 1947 and he went with the cover-up story for all these years to protect himself and his family.

'Mile Wide' Cigar Shaped UFO Sited
Fox News today reported a pilot and passengers of a British jetliner sited a cigar shaped UFO that looked to be about a mile wide in size. They reported seeing the UFO over the Channel Islands. The Evening Standard reported this was one of the larged UFOs ever seen. Citing an official air-miss report on the incident a few weeks ago in Pilot Magazine, the paper stated that Aurigny Airlines Capt Ray Bowyer first saw the craft while flying close to Alderney, one of several islands located in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy. Bowyer described the UFO as cigar shaped and a brilliant white light. He also said "It was very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area". Bowyer noted that he used binoculars to veiw the craft more closely. "It was 2,000 feet up and stationary. I thought it was about 10 miles away, although later realized it was approximately 40 miles from us". "At first, i thought it was the size of a boeing 737, but it must have been much bigger because of how far away it was. It could have been as much as a mile wide". Bowyer said he then spotted a second identical object farther to the west.
Some passengers and an un-named pilot with the Blue Islands airline later confirmed the ufo sighting according to the Evening Standard. The 'Civil Aviation Authority' saftey notice stated that another aircraft, a Tri-Lander, flying nearby Alderney also spotted the UFO.
A pilot ufo sighting is very hard to de-bunk as most pilots are extremely credible witnesses. This UFO Siting has 3 pilot confirmations as well as the passengers...

France To Put UFO Files On Net
The government of France today announced they will be making public all information gathered in the research of UFOs and UFO sitings. The government's Space Research Department has over 30 years of data on roughly 1600 UFO sightings. The files will be public from the National Center for Space Research site. Former Arizona Governor Admits To Seeing The 'Phoenix Lights'
Investigative journalist Leslie Kean reports that former Arizona Governor Fife Symington now says that was a witness to the huge “Phoenix Lights” UFO 10 years ago, according to a published report by respected. Symington claims to have seen a very large triangluar spacecraft that he could not identify as 'of this world'.
"It was dramatic. And it couldn't have been flares because it was too symmetrical. It had a geometric outline, a constant shape," Symington is quoted as saying. He also said, "It was enormous and inexplicable. Who knows where it came from? A lot of people saw it, and I saw it too."
Symington also told Kean that he called the commander at nearby Luke Air Force Base on the far west side of metropolitan Phoenix as well as the top general of the Arizona National Guard. Symington also checked with the head of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the state police agency about the huge mysterious object.
The former governor says they were “perplexed”and offered no explanation.
Arizona was on the brink of hysteria, Symington told Kean. So, six days later, on March 19, he and his staff staged a phony press conference in which an aide dressed up like an alien and was escorted before reporters in handcuffs.
“I never felt that the overall situation was a matter of ridicule,” Symington now says. “I wanted them to lighten up and calm down, so I introduced a little levity.”

Major Airline employees report disc shaped UFO hovering over Ohare Airport in Chicago
A group of United Airline workers, some pilots, reported seeing the strange disc shaped object hoving over the airport last fall. They say the object was disc shaped and had no lights. It hovered over an airport terminal before shooting up into the clouds. This story was reported monday Jan 1st 2007 by the chicago sun times newspaper. The FAA (federal avaition administration) acknowledged that a United supervisor had called the airtraffic control tower at O'Hare airport, to see if anyone else had spotted a spinning disc-shaped object.
Ufortunately, the air traffic controllers didn't see anything, and a preliminary check of radar found nothing out of the ordinary. The Federal Administration Association spokes-women Elisabeth Isham Cory said: "Our theory on this is that it was a weather phenomenon," Cory said. "That night was a perfect atmospheric condition in terms of low (cloud) ceiling and a lot of airport lights. When the lights shine up into the clouds, sometimes you can see funny things." There will be No FAA investigation, Cory said.

USO - Unidentified Submerged Objects These are the same as UFO's but can operate underwater as well as in the atmosphere or sky. There has been recent activity near Puerto Rico and the Bermuda Triangle. Some believe there are underwater bases in that area. The History Channel had a great program on these USO's.
The USS Franklin Delanore Roosevelt aircraft carrier was the first naval ship to carry nuclear weapons . For this reason, many say the USS FDR was also a magnet for USO sitings. With multiple sitings with multiple reliable eye witnesses, these cases become hard to debunk.

A multinational force made up of US & British naval ships. USO approach the FDR and are witnessed by many people. Apparently a British ship had a close encounter as well.

Oct 2 1963 - Radar Operator on the FDR
Off the coast of Sardinia, radar operator Jordan noticed a blip on his radar screen. It moved across his screen at altitudes and faster then anything he had seen before. It approached the FDR slowed, then just disappeared. He was never able to tell if the craft went into the water or not.
Rumor has it that Dwight Eisenhower may have even been present on the FDR during one of these USO events.
October 4 1967 - Shag Harbor, Nova Scotia

A UFO, or orange lights in the sky, was witnessed by numerous people the night of Oct 4th 1967. They say these lights crashed into Shag Harbor. A light could be seen on the water shortly after the crash. By the time some local fisherman got to the area of the crash, the light was gone. Local officials & the Royal Canadian Mounted Police sent down divers thinking this could have been an airplane accident. Nothing was found.
Fast forward to 1993. The story gets picked up by Chris Styles a MUFON researcher. Styles was joined by Doug Ledger who too is with MUFON. What they uncover is truly amazing. Apparently the craft navigated about 30 miles south underwater to a place called 'Governors Point' close to a US sub tracking base.
This USO was picked up on sonar and navy vessels were sent to investigate. The ships were positioned directly over it. A couple of days went by and navy were thinking of starting a salvage operation to recover the craft. This is when a 2nd USO comes to the aid of 1st one and appears to repair it.
After about a week some of the monitoring vessels were dispatched to intercept an approaching Russian sub. At this time the 2 USO's made there way to the gulf of Maine. They were able to get away from the trailing navy vessels break the surface and fly away. Truly amazing.

March 13 1997 - Phoenix Az - Mass UFO Siting -
A strange light formation was witnessed & photographed by thousands of people in the Phoenix Arizona area on March the 13th 1997. These lights were visible for miles. Even though this event was clearly witmessed byu many civilian people, the government has offered an excuse of light/flares being dropped from aircraft above. To most of the people who witnessed this event, the excuse is a little lacking in substance.
These sitings continue today and are happening worldwide. An example would be a mass ufo siting 2-19-97 St. Petersburg Russia, which was eerily similar the Phoenix siting 1 month later. Many believe this increased activity is leading up to something, possibly a landing party looking to make contact with us. Others think the UFOs are watching our advancements, keeping an eye on us. Still others are convinced the aliens are here and have been here for quite some time and are very interested in the worlds various nuclear arments. They want to make sure we keep our hostilities here on Earth, therefore not jeopardizing any other civilization that may exist. Whatever the reasoning behind the increased activity, it provides us with very credible and amazing evidence. Stay tuned for more to come.

UFOs Exist says a high ranking Japanese Government Official
The UFOs exist according to Chief Cabinet Secretary Nobutaka Machimura of the Japanese government.
The Japan government spokesman stated that Unidentified Flying Objects do exist. In reponse to an earlier query from an opposition law-maker the Japanese government released a statement saying they could not confirm any UFO events. Later Mr Machimura, Chief Cabinet Secretary, told reporters that he believed UFOs definately do exist.
The government was asked what its policy was to deal with UFOs. The Japanese civil service issued a statement which said 'that should a flying saucer be spotted in country's airspace, a fighter would be scrambled to attempt visual confirmation.'
The Japanese goverment emphasised that it was not aware of cases where a UFO from space had been discovered. Most UFO Sighting are written off as birds or other objects.
Mr Machimura called this reaction a 'stereotypical response' from the bureacrats.
Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, when quizzed about the existance of UFOs and Flying Saucers, said he has 'not yet confirmed' whether or not they exist.

National Press Club UFO Panel 11-12-07 Update
The UFO conference at the National Press Club in Washington DC today turned into a call for the U.S. Government to re-open UFO investigations. Ex Govenor or Arizona Fyfe Symingotn and the other panelists were adamant that the government continue its practice of investigationing the UFO Phenomena. Project Blue Book, which was ended in the late 1960s was the last official investigative effort, conducted by the U.S. Air Force.
The panelists pleas have once again fallen on deaf ears as the Air Force contends there is no reason to re-establish Project Blue book or any other UFO investigative project. They continue to chose to ignore all recent UFO sightings, including the Jan 1st 2007 UFO event over Ohare airport which was witnessed by many people.
UFOs & UFOlogy in general are still viewed with skeptism. Its no wonder none of the local (NYC) news stations made any mention of the this event. Fox news did a 2-3 minute piece on the conference, but the host passed it off as nothing important.
